• The presentations so far have been positively uplifting and very informative. I’m learning new and relevant material.

• It’s really exciting and rewarding for me to be with you, Prof Tom and all the academic fraternity across the world who have come forward for such a noble cause and bring about qualitative changes in the teaching-learning scenario across the world through such an innovative and useful academic and technological interventions. Our Term End Examinations(of my University) will continue until the end of this month and I will be a little busy in the monitoring of the examinations but I will surely find out time to participate in more than ten sessions and reflect upon them to be eligible to receive a certificate for completing MOOC4. Though I am a man of forty eight and certificates are of little use to me, I simply cannot resist the temptation. Looking forward to meeting and interacting with you all all through the month of June.
• This week has been amazing for me. I have never before taken part in so many webinars before, let alone in English. And never before did I actually talk in a webinar, thankfully Dr. Nellie Deutsch gave me the chance to try it. I was really thrilled by the wonderful presentations of different presenters. Challenging for me are the many different tasks, especially the writing and organizing, as I am still not well enough for my job though attending or teaching a (face-to-face-) class in the morning. Finding enough time for recovering from the course  and reflecting isn’t easy. But I’ll do my best! My question for today: Has someone written a reflection yet? As I am not familiar with this kind of text I wonder if there are rules I’ll have to follow (except the given ones). Personally I find a reflection quite liberating (compared to german argumentative texts).
• Positive: Connecting with like minded people from all over the world. Learning from each other is great. Challenges: The time differences are a pain in the neck as some of the live session do take place after or at midnight here in Macau SAR.
• What do I find positive about the course? It is allowing me to become more familiar with using platforms to create and administer a course online. It is providing professional speakers that offer ideas and model teaching online What do I find challenging? Sifting through, becoming familiar with and applying the many online tools available in order to complete the tasks. Ask one question? What are some online tools that some of you use that you would like to share? Answer another person’s Question.
• Positive things about the course for me are the variety of topics to be discussed and connecting with people all around the world. I am learning so much!
  Challenging things about the course are the sometimes steep learning curve and finding the time to actually do the course! Has anyone used a breakout room? For what kinds of activities? It sounds like my kind of thing! Love the name too, it conjures up all sorts of images
• What do I find positive about the course? Being able to communicate with other like minded colleagues and learning something new or reinforcing what I already know. What do I find challenging? The work on the Moodle is the most challenging for me, also because I’m not so well acquainted with the system.
• The opening session was very interesting. In it we had a general panorama of the course. And we learned how to attract group members to the work ahead. As usual I´m somewhat overwhelmed by the amount of work and the variety of activities expected of me. Currently I´m not teaching any groups so it´s difficult to try the different activities suggested. However, I can see and hear about what other people do, which is enlightening and exciting. Thanks for the great organization and development of the MOOC.
• What do I find positive about the course? Social interaction between the teacher and the students and among the students themselves sounds great.
  What do I find challenging? For me, learning more effectively. Participants worked collaboratively with a teacher in an international online group.
• I could finally see the recording of yesterday’s session. Great class but I prefer the live class than the recordings.
  For me the main challenge is to be able to follow all the classes , do the assessments, post reflexions in my external blog and insert in Moodle, because here in Spain we finish the school year now and we have lost of work to do.
  In addition to this my English is not very good and it’s hard to understand everything. It’s helpful for me the tutorials, the chat, forums to understand the content.
  Great experience !
• The course is going great. The main challenge for me now is staying at my workstation to follow the sessions. Since the last storm the weather has been superb and cherries are blooming. I am going to invest in a mobile device (maybe S notebook 3 0r 4) to join you all from the banks of the Sava or Danube soon.
• What is challenging? In my case the most challenging is finding free time for watching and doing homework each day. The problem is that I would like to watch all classes and at the same time I have some home duties which are also nice and challenging 
• This is going to be such a great course that will expand on my skills and challenge me!
• Loved the content, the best part of online learning is that you can access it anytime and if like me you missed the live session you can see the presentation later. If only it had been recorded from the live session. Thank you for your effort and input to education.

Certificates for Moodle MOOC 4

Participants can join the Moodle courses (M4B or M4NB) or they can just attend and view the recordings of the 34 presentations. Certificates of Completion will be awarded to those who follow the requirements. To qualify for a certificate, you will need to reflect on 10 of the 34 presentations. Guidelines for reflecting on the live/recorded presentations on WizIQ

1. Give the title, date, presenter, course number or name, and where the presentation took place (online/face-to-face).

2. Describe the event very briefly.

3. Did you connect with the other attendees or the speaker? If so, how?

4. What questions came up as you watched the presentation?

5. How did the content relate to you as a teacher and/or learner or individual?

6. What were some of the thoughts that went through your mind as your watched the presentation?

7. How did you feel as you watched the presentation? If you felt good, what made you feel good? If you felt discomfort, what made you feel discomfort?

8. What challenges might you encounter in implementing some of the ideas?

9. What steps can you take to resolve the challenges?

10. What would you like to do in the future as a result of what you heard, read, saw?

11. Write a question or 2 that you would like to research (look into) as a result of the presentation.

12. Write your reflection on google drive text doc or PowerPoint presentation, screenshare and create a video of your reflection using screencast-o-matic, screenr, jing, movenote, camtasia, or any other video screencaster and add it to your blog, wiki, or Google drive (publicly) and share the link on Google Plus, Google Communities, LinkedIn groups, Facebook, Scoopit, Pinterest, or any other social network.

Here’s the rubric on how participants will be graded. Everyone can get 100 by following the evaluation rubric.
