I encountered the Silva Method for the first time in 1998 when I took my first class. I had always been fascinated by thinking, the brain, and autosuggestion, so I naturally gravitated to the ideas expressed by Jose Silva, the founder of the Silva Method in the 1960s. I got a certificate for both completing the beginner and advanced levels.
Both Mindfulness and the Silva Method help relax and become wide awake. Being present and aware of our surroundings during the day helps improve well being, promotes creativity, and facilitates effective problem solving.
