Inability to Look Ahead

The world of education is changing. Universities and school organizations are trying to stay afloat in the struggle to connect with students of all ages. Teachers are receiving instructions on what platforms (asynchronous and synchronous) to use and with the younger learners, how to behave. But is that what they need?

Systems are struggling because those heading the organizations lack the ability to look ahead and set goals in the  present. Many teachers are losing focus and interest in learning. I am noticing the change in the professional development courses on Moodle for Teachers. Many join, but less than a  handful are active. Enrolling is the first of many steps to successful engagement.
